Characteristic of trojans

Trojans is a program that contains hidden code that launches an attack, sometimes disguising itself to look like a data file that can spread upon opening it. It can crash or slow down an infected device or network service. However, it does not self-replicate and requires user actions to bring the malware from a system to another.

What does a trojan do?

Trojans can do many things, to name a few, they can create a backdoor, perform DDoS attacks, and can steal data from the infected computer, it can also give an attacker full control over your computer via a remote network connection.
