Characteristic of trojans
Trojans is a program that contains hidden code that launches an attack, sometimes disguising itself to look like a data file that can spread upon opening it. It can crash or slow down an infected device or network service. However, it does not self-replicate and requires user actions to bring the malware from a system to another.
What does a trojan do?
Trojans can do many things, to name a few, they can create a backdoor, perform DDoS attacks, and can steal data from the infected computer, it can also give an attacker full control over your computer via a remote network connection.

How to prevent trojans?
1)Update your operating system’s software as soon as updates are made available from the software company.
2)Be careful with email attachments, look out for anything suspicious of the email.
3)Don’t open a link in an email unless you’re confident it comes from a legitimate source.
4)Don’t download or install programs if you don’t have complete trust in the publisher.
